Azerbaijan Diabetes League has won the 2020 grant competition for funding NGO projects held by the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The organization's official, more functional and responsible website has been created to raise awareness.

Karabakh is Azerbaijan!

Azerbaijan Diabetes League announced a photo contest "Karabakh is Azerbaijan!", dedicated to the 14th November - World Diabetes Day and the 20th anniversary of the organization.

"Let's win diabetes together!"

An event under the motto "Let's win diabetes together!" was organized by the Azerbaijan Diabetes League (ADL) in the park of Yasamal district of Baku.

Organized conference by ADL in Ganja and Lankaran

On May 15-18, 2018, lectures were given to doctors in Ganja (in the hall of the Health Department) and Lankaran (in the assembly hall of the Central District Hospital) with the latest information on diabetes under the leadership of the head of the medical department of ADL, Deputy Chairman Sariya Agayeva. Doctor of Republican Endocrinology Center, ADL chairwoman Yegana Sultanova spoke at the conference on "Rules of insulin therapy", and Sariyya Agayeva on "New aspects in the treatment of type 2 diabetes".

Psychological training

On April 28, the Center for Children's Rights of the National NGO Forum organized psychological trainings for parents of children suffering from leukemia, hemophilia and diabetes. The topic of the training was "stress and fear". Ayaz Huseynov, Director of the Center for Children's Rights, opened the training, and Ramin Hajiyev, a psychologist, informed the parents about the topics. Art therapy was also widely used in Ramin Hajiyev's trainings.
